A terrific place to stay with friendly staff, clean room in an excellent part of Sydney. I recently stayed at a backpacker hostel in Glebe with my two teenage boys and it exceeded my expectations. The private room with en suite wassuper clean and cozy, and the staff, particularly Tom at the front desk, were friendly. We loved exploring the beautiful old houses along Glebe Point Rd and felt safe walking everywhere. Although there were a couple of minor issues like an unlocked security box and a lack of cups, the overall experience was great and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hostel for its price, excellent private bathroom, and fantastic location in Glebe.

For the price we paid, we definitely got great value at The Village Glebe. The room was spacious, private, and had a large shower. The location of the hotel was perfect and we felt safe throughout our stay. The staff, especially one particular guy at the reception, provided excellent customer service and even allowed us to do an early check-in.
The breakfast selection could be improved with a wider variety of options.

I had a great stay at a hostel in Sydney. The location was perfect - not too far from the city center, but in a quiet neighborhood. There was a beautiful park just a short walk away, and I enjoyed spending time in the big outside area of the hostel. My dorm room had air conditioning, a relief in the hot weather. I also appreciated the security measures in place, with key access required to enter the building and lockable boxes in the room. I highly recommend this hostel for a nice stay outside the city center.

The location was fantastic, with easy access to cafes, shops, and buses. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, and I especially appreciated the excellent bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. Despite a few minor issues, such as the lack of shelves in the room and the noise from the front door, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its unique combination of hostel-like character and hotel-level comfort. I had a positive stay and would consider returning in the future.

The rooms were spacious and the daily cleaning service was great. the location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and key attractions.
The reception and WiFi were disappointing, and the staff seemed clueless and dismissive when I tried to address an overcharging issue. It left me feeling irritated and undervalued as a customer.

My stay at The Village Glebe was absolutely fantastic. I was in Sydney for a weekend getaway and this hotel was the perfect choice. The location on Glebe Point Road was ideal, with plenty of parks, eateries, and supermarkets within walking distance. The room itself was spotless and had a refreshing scent. The beddings and pillows were clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the common kitchen, where I had the opportunity to meet people from different countries. The outdoor area was also a great place to unwind and socialize. I appreciated the convenience of having multiple USB ports in the room for charging. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to tram and bus stations made exploring the city a breeze. I had a wonderful experience at The Village Glebe.
I can recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at The Village Glebe for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The room exceeded my expectations with its high ceilings and beautiful heritage renovation. I especially enjoyed the ensuite bathroom, which was a lovely bonus. The hotel's location in charming Glebe was perfect - close enough to the CBD and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and pubs. The hotel itself is a charming old building with stain glass windows that added a touch of character. The quiet hallways and nice courtyards made it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The night staff were extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring that my needs were met.

the private bedroom and bathroom were very clean, spacious, and modern. the location was great, with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants just a 10 to 15-minute walk away. But what made my stay truly exceptional was the friendly and welcoming staff. Atakan, in particular, went above and beyond to help me. I'm grateful for all the tips he gave me as well.
Can't fault anything about it! 😊.
